Nowadays, the conditions of the wine-growing area in Dietlingen fortunately look different. Today, only 30 hectares of the absolute top sites vineyards are utilized, whereas back in 1900, more than 200 hectares were managed.

Today, the ideal quality and condition of the wine-growing centre in Dietlingen, revolves around the mussel lime ground, that creates the low yields of the fruitful and full body essence wines, which are so desired.
